At a recent Goldwell Academy training day in London, Lucy from The Blue Room, was lucky enough to spend the day training with Beverly Cobella, MBE.

Beverly is the winner of numerous awards and the first woman to win the prestigious British Hairdresser of the Year award twice. She is a past President of the Fellowship of British Hairdressing and current Patron of HABIA (Hair & Beauty Industry Authority)

With her extensive experience in the industry as one of the world’s top hairdressers, coupled with her growing TV career, you can imagine that it was a special day for the team.

Pink day raises over £500

Hundreds of pounds have been raised for charity during a pink day at the salon. Staff dressed in pink, customers had their nails painted in pink and the massive raffle and pink cakes on offer boosted funds for Breast Cancer Awareness. The salon will also add another £500 to the cause if 500 people become fans of our Facebook group at www.facebook.com/theblueroomsalon
