NVQ level 2 successes

Two of our trainees have just completed their formal NVQ level 2 training in Hair.

Both Alex and Kirsty were assessed as completing their training on Tues 24th August, with Alex completing hers in just 6 months and  setting a new standard for all future apprentices to attain.

Apprentices at The Blue Room undergo a period of in-salon training where practical shop floor skills training is combined with the formal NVQ level 2 assessment. Apprentices are expected to achieve the NVQ level 2 within 12 months and be a competent stylist within 18 months. As stylists, they can then go on to undertake further qualifications, such as NVQ level 3 and state registration, or specialist practical training run by the training academies.
